I would hate to risk getting sick or injured to complete in a non-necessary event. But I will keep up the exercise. I love riding my bicycle and hope to get out on it today, after 2 weeks of rain. I've been swimming, even in the rain(!), 35 minutes and 1200 yards last weekend, then 30 minutes and 1050 yards this weekend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yoga is still working for me, but I have a pulled muscle in my upper back, so it's a little tough to do all of the poses right now. Baby Boot Camp is still the best combination strength &amp;amp; cardio exercise I've found. The rain didn't last long, though, and I had stuck it out anyway because the baby had fallen asleep on my warm up run. So, after running a mile, I went on a second loop, stopping every so often to do push-ups, tricep dips, and lunges or squats. I ended up doing a total of 100 of each, plus did my 100 crunches at home, broken up by 4 1-minute plank holds. This is fine for my height/age, but I want the inches to go down. I'll try interval training this week, along with Prevention's Flat Belly Ab Exercises. It's hard to exercise with 3 kids in tow, though!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is a 1200 calorie diet that goes along with the exercise plan, but the seems pretty extreme. Workouts are starting to tire me out, although they are good for my mental health. I try to swim three days a week, but I'm only swimming for about 30 minutes, covering 1000 yards or so. I still try for boot camp two days per week, but I skip the extra cardio and the challenges.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Showers are predicted for Tuesday and Thursday this week. That means I may miss one or both boot camp sessions. In an effort to make sure that I can actually finish the triathalon on September 26, I ran to Baby Boot Camp yesterday (with both girls in the stroller), completed the 55 minute class, and walked home (with both girls in the stroller).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2.5 mile run with 89 lb. load - 27 minutes&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Baby Boot Camp - 55 minutes&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;2.5 mile walk with 89 lb. load - 47 minutes&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Total time = 129 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today is Cheryl's day to teach a Level II class; However, I am stiff and sore this morning, mostly from swimming, I think. I need to practice swimming more, to get down my breathing rhythm for crawl stroke (which I did yesterday -- without hurting my shoulder!!) and breast stroke.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My shins are really hurting, probably from running too hard at class. Very good workout, but pretty easy, or I am getting used to her workouts. It also means time to plan and prepare what I would like to accomplish in the coming week. Since the weather forecast indicates sunny skies all week, it is an idea time to work outdoors (and with all the wind and rain, I really need to). So each week, I pick a different level of the house to work on. This week, I choose Level 1 - the upstairs, even with Estates Drive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I read once that you should only try to accomplish five things in one day; I have found this to be true most of the time and will try to implement it again.
